Yvette Porter

Yvette is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, specialising in rehabilitation through exercise. Yvette understands that sometimes “Exercise is the best medicine”.

As part of her consultations she provides clinical exercise rehabilitation and Pre-Employment Functional Capacity Assessments (PEFAs) in the Whitsunday clinic. Yvette has a broad interest in injuries and chronic conditions, and welcomes new clients with conditions including Diabetes, Osteoporosis, and Weight Management Problems.

Yvette holds a Bachelor of Human Movement Science from CQ University and a Masters in Exercise Physiology from Charles Sturt University. She is a full member of Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).

Continuing on from her child hood days Yvette still participates in touch Football and Netball. She has also played Rugby League at a State level representing Queensland in the Women’s State of Origin in 2010.

Yvette currently lives in the Whitsunday Region with her husband Randal and enjoys spending time at their hobby cattle farm on the weekends.
