Rhianna Bridgett

Rhianna is a Musculoskeletal Therapist, Myotherapist and Massage Therapist who has worked in the industry for approximately 6 years including in elite sport.

Rhianna’s extensive experience in with elite sport has seen her work alongside varying levels of AFL (Australian Rules Football League).

In conjunction to this she is a tertiary lecturer and enjoys guest speaking and presenting at events. Her experiences in this avenue includes giving the key note address at a national graduation ceremony, presenting a technical presentation at a national conference & collaborating alongside allied health practitioners at professional development sessions.

Rhianna completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2012 at Victoria University. At this conclusion of this and whilst starting her own sub-contracting business she continued on with her studies and completed her Bachelor of Health Science in Musculoskeletal Therapy in 2015 at Endeavour College of Natural Health.

She was awarded an Academic Excellence Award for her studies in this degree and was fortunate enough to give the Valedictorian student response speech at her graduation ceremony.

Rhianna is currently undertaking her Honours degree through Endeavour College of Natural Health and has developed her area of research around the use of cupping therapy and its therapeutic benefits for elite athletes for recovery and performance. She has been fortunate enough to also have her systematic review titled ‘Effects of Cupping Therapy in Amateur and Professional Athletes: Systematic Review of Randomised Controlled Trials’ published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine.

As Rhianna, has become the master of multitasking her manual therapies career has now gone full circle and she has recently accepted an academic tertiary lecturing role at Endeavour. She is excited to be guiding future Myotherapists as well as the industry she truly loves.
