Monique Rowlands

Monique is a physiotherapist with a keen interest in treating patients in the earlier and later stages of life.

Monique is passionate about providing quality health care for patients across the lifespan. From pediatric to geriatric, she brings a caring, clinical approach to all ages. Conditions of the back, hip and lower limb are of particular interest.

Monique has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from James Cook University in Townsville. She is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.  Monique’s honours thesis focused on Parkinson’s Disease.

With a longstanding passion for sport, Monique enjoys treating all athletes from representatives to weekend warriors. Whether you‒re looking to return to league or lawn bowls, she can provide a functional program to get you back in the game.

Born and raised in Mackay, Monique is a proud local with a strong sporting upbringing. She has played in the region’s local and representative basketball competitions.

Monique is an enthusiastic member of the Physio Plus team, dedicated to quality care and practice.
